I make this quiche for dinner and my family loves it. I like to change what goes into it each time I make it. Sometimes I add bacon or tomatoes but I always add love. It’s a quick, easy meal. Enjoy!
1 Homemade or readymade pie crust
½ cup of shredded Swiss cheese
½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
4 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup of chopped onion
½ cup spinach (optional)
1 ½ cups of half and half, light cream, or milk
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- Prepare the pie shell
- Toss together cheese, onion, spinach, and flour. Sprinkle mixture over the bottom of the cooked pastry shell.
- In a mixing bowl stir together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour egg mixture into the pie shell. Bake at 325 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out.
