I have always been a huge fan of cookies ‘n cream ice cream so when my neighbor brought my family over a plate of these beautiful cookies ‘n cream cookies it was love at first bite! I immediately asked her for the recipe and the next day went to the store to get the ingredients to make up a batch myself. I was totally thrilled to see how easy they were to make and that they looked and tasted perfect with my first attempt. Let’s be honest, not all cookie recipes are the same and not all of them turn out beautifully every time you make them, but this one has not failed me yet. I have made this recipe multiple times in the last few months and they have been a big hit with family, co-workers, friends, and neighbors.
Cookies ‘n Cream Cookies…One is Never Enough!
I can’t wait for you to make up a batch for your family and try these yourselves. The recipe is my neighbors favorite Chocolate chip recipe with a few tweaks (like the Oreo’s and white chocolate chips)! It is a perfect combination. I do have to warn you though, make sure when you make these cookies that you have a glass of ice cold milk to go with them!
These cookies include these 10 simple ingredients!
- 1 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 14 Crushed Oreo’s
- 1/2 Bag of White Chocolate Chips
Start by creaming together both sugars and the butter.
Next you will add in the two eggs and a teaspoon of your favorite vanilla.
Then add in your dry ingredients.
Place your Oreo cookies into a resealable bag and break up the cookies using your hands or a rolling pin. Make sure not to break them up so small that the cookies turn into dust! I like to have some good size pieces of the Oreo’s to add in to my dough.
After the Oreo cookies are broken up, add both the cookies and the white chocolate chips into the dough.
Place 12 cookies onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes (or until sightly golden brown). Pour a cold glass of milk and enjoy!
